My mom was a CPA, and I inherited the trait of being good with numbers. I have always liked helping people understand the purpose behind the numbers they see on tax returns or financial statements. Being able to help others understand and maximize more savings for retirement is amazing.

Maggie’s interest in accounting started when she helped tutor some friends outside of college classes. She graduated from Davenport University with a bachelor’s degree in paralegal studies and a master’s degree in forensic examination. She is also a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE).
Retired golf lovers take note: Outside the office, Maggie, who grew up golfing across West Michigan, is a high school girls’ golf coach! She loves off-roading, cheering on volleyball games and hitting the golf course herself with friends. She also occasionally visits her family’s lake cottage with her husband, daughter and their black Labradoodle, Bud, to enjoy the outdoors.
