Marcus Grost

Advisor

“Retirement is a life event, and there will be uncertainties that you don’t see coming. It’s important to sit down with someone who has gone through and helped clients with these moments.”

I’ve seen firsthand my family’s financial struggles after a huge life event put us in a tough spot financially. I became an advisor at Mattson Financial to help people plan for the unknowns they will have in life.

For Marcus, retirement is about planning for what you know is coming AND what you don’t know is coming. He believes a plan comes with a degree of certainty and more confidence to move forward, which can help address the moments of uncertainty that can show up in many ways.

A graduate of the Colangelo College of Business at GrandCanyon University, Marcus holds a finance degree and currently holds a Series65 securities license, in addition to insurance licenses for life, accident and health. His knowledge, credentials and professional experience have helped him build a strong foundation in retirement planning, investment strategies and risk management. He is known for creating tailored plans for each client’s unique needs.

Marcus takes a hands-on style to advising, working closely with individuals and families to simplify financial planning and empower them in their decisions.Outside the office, he’s an outdoorsman with a love for exploring nature, golfing and spending time up north in Pure Michigan. Whether it’s a quiet morning on the lake or a challenging day on the course, Marcus is all about making the most of Michigan’s beauty.
