I grew up dancing competitively and won three national championships as part of the Grand Valley State University Laker Dance Team — go Lakers! Dance taught me how to blend individual skills with teamwork, and I apply that same energy to my role at Mattson Financial Services.
Shelby is the creative force translating Mattson Financial Services’ core values into every client touchpoint. She blends a genuine warmth with a sharp, strategic attitude to help build our live events. Shelby works to make every seminar feel like a community gathering and every message resonate on a personal level.
Shelby graduated from Grand Valley State University and now uses hands-on training and client feedback to create experiences that inform, inspire action and build a true sense of community.
A Detroit native, Shelby is now a happy Grand Rapids local. She channels her passion for connection into her life outside the office, whether by exploring new restaurants, attending concerts or helping out a local school dance team. She also enjoys participating in her book club and hanging out with her toy Australian Shepherd, Nash.
